Poplar Estate is a vineyard and orchard property at Mount Pisa, about 15 minutes from Cromwell on the road to Wānaka, below the Pisa Mountain Range and beside Lake Dunstan. It grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on two boutique vineyards and sells produce from a daily market stall, along with nuts, honey and olive oil.

Farm tours are available, and the estate has been running since 2015. Weddings and private functions are held in the heritage orchard, which has landscaped grounds, native plantings, a pond and commissioned stainless steel artwork.

Guests can stay at Poplar Estate Cottage, a modern, private, gated cottage on the working vineyard with a log fire and a heated verandah, and views of the Pisa Range. Rated 5.0 from 22 Google reviews, all of them five stars.
