Māori Point Vineyard in Tarras grows grapes and makes Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Rosé, Pinot Gris and sparkling wines, using hand-based viticulture and natural winemaking powered by solar panels, with electric vehicle charging on site. Visitors can book a Vines and Barrels Experience, including on Tuesdays and outside regular hours, and order food platters built on local sources.
Groups of five or more should email ahead, while groups of four or fewer need no booking for the standard tasting. The vines grow on soils formed after the retreat of the Lindis glacier.
A wine club and gift packs are available, and the business ships wine internationally. Rated 5 from 70 Google reviews, 68 of them five stars.
